AcudocX Release Notes: 4.7 9 September 2026

This release focuses on reliability for translators, cleaner branding controls for agencies, and a smoother job-creation experience for customers.

For translators

USD Stripe payouts fixed. We resolved a bug that was blocking payouts for some translators with USD Stripe accounts. In one case it also prevented a translator from submitting a completed certified job for review. As part of the fix, affected USD Stripe accounts were disconnected. If you complete US jobs and have not reconnected your USD Stripe account, please do so now to avoid a delay on your next payout. If you are already connected, no action is needed.

Translation fields now autosave. Fields on a translation job save as soon as you click away, so typed content is no longer lost if you move off the page without pressing Enter.

Pending Jobs updates instantly. A job you have just claimed now appears in your Pending Jobs list straight away, with no page refresh required.

For agencies

Branding stays with the referring agency. If a customer restarts partway through a job they began via your quick link or coupon, they will continue to see your agency's branding through to checkout. This protects attribution on the job.

Logo, banner and signature uploads. Clearer help text, a delete option for each upload, and a confirmation prompt before anything is removed.

GST default corrected. New accounts now default to "GST Registered: No" unless switched on at signup.

For customers

Delete an unpaid job from Job Details. Customers can now delete a job that is awaiting payment directly from the Job Details page, not only from the checkout screen.

Consistent job-creation layout. Each step in the job-creation flow now uses the same page width, so the layout no longer shifts between steps.

AI-assisted date format fix. Corrected a date-format issue on AI-assisted job review pages.

For all users

AI-assisted extraction model upgraded. The model behind AI-assisted self-service extraction and translation has been upgraded to Claude Sonnet 5 on regional AWS Bedrock servers, improving accuracy on document extraction while respecting data sovereignty.

AU and US regional sync restored. We resolved a sync fault that had been preventing some translation-service updates (such as certification expiry dates and new language pairs) and some job data and messages from syncing correctly between the AU and US regions. Everything is now fully caught up.

v4.6.0 — 17 August 2026

Pay without leaving the page
The checkout experience has been updated. Instead of being redirected to a separate Stripe payment page, customers can now complete payment directly on the Review Your Order screen. The order summary, express options, coupon codes, and postage selection all remain visible alongside/below the payment form.

Job creation improvements
Minor layout fixes to the job creation flow for customers, including better 'next' button placement and alignment on the document selection and activity steps.

AcudocX 4.5.0: Practice jobs, agency restrictions, and a clearer checkout

This release focuses on three groups using the platform every day: translators finding their feet, agencies managing their provider pool, and customers working out what they are being charged. Alongside these, we have shipped an automated file purge to keep document retention tight.

Translator Practice Jobs

New translators can now complete practice jobs before their first live assignment. These onboarding jobs work the same way a real job does, from acceptance through to delivery, but carry no client deadline and no payment obligation attached. The aim is straightforward: give a translator a genuine run through the workflow before their reputation and a real client are on the line, and give agencies confidence that a provider has been through the platform at least once before routing paid work to them.

Agency Translator Restrictions

Agencies can now restrict, or blacklist, specific translators from being assigned their jobs. Previously an agency's job pool was open to any eligible provider on the platform; this release lets an agency exclude named providers from its own queue, while leaving the wider marketplace unaffected for everyone else. This has been one of our most requested agency controls, and it gives agencies the same discretion over their provider relationships that they would expect from any procurement process.

Job Acceptance Timer

Jobs that are offered to a translator now carry a 10 minute acceptance window. If the job is not accepted within that window, it is automatically unassigned and returned to the pool for another provider to pick up. This closes a gap where a job could sit unattended after being offered, quietly extending the customer's delivery timeline without anyone realising. We have also fixed a related notification bug, where translators were not being alerted that a job had become available again after being surrendered or unassigned. Together, these two changes should mean fewer jobs stalling in limbo.

Checkout Service Fee Tooltips and Labels

Checkout now labels the service fee clearly and includes a tooltip explaining what it covers, so customers understand exactly what they are paying for before they confirm an order. Prices shown on the platform are base prices inclusive of tax (e.g. GST); service fees are calculated and added at checkout.

Admin Portal Payouts List

On the admin side, we have added a payouts list to the admin portal, giving the team a consolidated, real-time view of translator and agency payouts. This is an internal tool rather than a customer-facing feature, but it directly supports faster resolution of payout queries and gives us better visibility as payout volume grows.

Automated Document File Purge (30 days)

Job documents are now automatically purged from platform storage 30 days after a job is completed, replacing a previously manual task. This reduces the amount of client document data retained on the platform over time and reflects our general approach of holding personal and sensitive document data for no longer than necessary.

Also in this release

A handful of smaller improvements shipped alongside the above:

• Job action buttons have been renamed for clarity: Preview, Accept job, and Send for Review.

• All actions in the job details three dot menu are now visible, rather than partially hidden.

• A warning modal now appears before a customer or translator submits a "Raise an Issue" request, to reduce accidental submissions.
